At the moment we are searching for a Biostatistician for our office in Maastricht, the Netherlands

As a biostatistician in the Bakken Research Center, Medtronic’s clinical research center in Europe, you will be responsible for giving statistical support to the design and execution of clinical studies in patients with heart rhythm disturbances.
In this position you will provide statistical expertise for the design and execution of clinical studies and other research projects. You will advise on the methodological correctness of the study design, assess the required sample sizes, and extensively analyze the collected data in order to reach well-founded conclusions. Retrieving data from the clinical database and preparing the necessary summary reports is another part of the job. Through active cooperation with physicians and medical researchers you will take a leading role in the publication of study results. You will be working in a team of statisticians and clinical database specialists.
