Postdoctoral MRI Research Associate at University of Colorado Denver
The Department of Radiology at the University of Colorado Denver (UCDenver) has an opening for a full-time Postdoctoral MRI Research Associate.
Job Responsibilities: Working in the Colorado Translational Research Imaging Center (C-TRIC) at the UCDenver Anschutz Medical Campus the key responsibility will be data analysis, investigation of manifold mapping methods applied on computational anatomy, and algorithm and software development for functional MRI (fMRI). Potential research activities involve multivariate analysis, ICA, clustering, pulse sequence programming or other novel approaches to obtain better functional activation patterns in the brain.
FMRI data will be collected in the Brain Imaging Center, which is equipped with a research-dedicated GE 3T MR system with parallel imaging capability, state-of-the-art fMRI devices, and advanced computing facilities. Working in the growing C-TRIC also provides the successful candidate excellent chance to involve other medical imaging modalities.
Required Qualifications: A Ph.D. degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, biomedical or electrical engineering, or related field; knowledge and experience in statistics and statistical signal processing; proficiency in Matlab or C programming.
Preferred Qualifications: excellent analytical skills or medical imaging research experience.
