Bob, what do you mean by “visual poetry term", by the way?
Regarding the differences between a jump cut and collage: the former is a technical device that operates only with film frames; the latter is a device in painting that pre-dates its cinematic use. Therefore, the latter is applicable to poetry, as it is not contingent on cinematic technology.
