ALPSP AWARD FOR PUBLISHING INNOVATION (sponsored by Cadmus Communications)
2009 winner: PLoS ONE from the Public Library of Science
This award is in recognition of a truly innovative approach to any aspect of
publication. Applications will be judged on their originality and
innovative qualities, together with their utility, benefit to their
community and long term prospects.
ALPSP AWARD FOR BEST NEW JOURNAL (sponsored DHL Global Mail)
2009 winner: Evolutionary Applications published by Wiley-Blackwell
This Award is open to any peer-reviewed journal launched in the last 1-3
years. The judges will consider four main aspects of the journal and its
launch: market research, editorial strategy, marketing and commercial
success.
AWARD FOR BEST eBOOK PUBLISHER
2009 winner: Therapeutic Guidelines eTG complete
This award recognises exceptional expertise, innovation and enterprise in
the publishing of academic or scholarly book content in electronic form.
There will be two categories:
- Best eBook title or series
- Best eBook platform
The winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner on 9 September at the
ALPSP International Conference (www.alpspconference.org).
The closing date for receipt of applications is 14 June 2010.
