Isambard Research Scholarships 2010
The Institute for the Environment (IFE) is pleased to announce the Brunel
Isambard Research Scholarships (2010) which are now open to UK/EU applicants
for full-time PhD programmes starting on or after 1 October 2010. Core
research areas within IFE include Quaternary sciences, palaeolimnology,
palynology, natural hazards, and climate change impacts. Applicants for
entry in October 2010 must email their CV and covering note detailing their

<mailto:[log in to unmask]> with the subject ŒIsambard
Scholarship¹ before 15 June 2010. Selected candidates will be invited to
apply for a PhD at IfE and to complete and return the Isambard Scholarship
Application Form to arrive no later than 30th June 2010. This is an open
competition within Brunel University, and 15 Scholarships will be awarded
across the University on the basis of the strength of their application.
Multidisciplinary research is encouraged.
