Unfortunately I don't have a copy of the Synergy DVD (or Welles collection)
with me to compare properly but after watching the initial scene of the
Historic Omnibus Production DVD (i.e. Lear's division of the kingdom), I
think I can say that there is a slight 'improvement' / difference in both
image and audio quality.
