The Centre for Astrophysics and Planetary Sciences at the University
of Kent (UK) invites applications for a fixed term Post
Doctoral Research Associate position in the field of solar system
small bodies. The successful candidate will work with Dr Stephen
Lowry, primarily on observational studies of the asteroidal YORP
effect. Dr. Lowry leads a new approved programme at the European
Southern Observatory to acquire long term optical and thermal-IR
imaging data on a large sample of near-Earth asteroids. The
successful candidate will make a major contribution to this programme.
The position is for 3-years in the first instance, with a starting
date after June 14, 2010.
