Yes, Sharon, a good point of view. But ratbags will often infest where they
are not wanted. JVK had a tight list of requirements when the list began,
and he did enforce them. He is a vegan, so respect to all creatures was
called for.
John also invited some poets to prepare a bio/small anthology/statement of
poetics. It was an irregular feature, but a good one - almost monthly, if
memory serves me well. I'd like to see Sharon and Stephen invite various
poets - with a balance of genders, nationalities and 'schools' of thought.
And Snaps is a great ongoing tradition. Sad it has no permanent home.
