Dear LCDM email list subscribers,
As you will have heard from your department liaisons, the first in a new series of London Cosmology Discussion Meetings will take place this FRIDAY 14TH MAY.
The meeting will be held during the morning in the Harrie Massey lecture theatre at UCL:

This meeting is designed to informally kick-off a new series of LCDMs. As such there is no single topic being discussed but rather a series of presentations from UCL, Queen Mary's and Imperial College highlighting certain linked aspects of their research. There will be plenty of time for discussion, especially between members of different institutions with overlapping interests. Students are particularly urged to attend.
The morning's schedule is reproduced below:
1030-1040 Welcome
1040-1120 UCL Presentation & Discussion: "Science from Imaging Surveys"
1120-1140 Coffee
1140-1220 QM Presentation & Discussion: "Cosmological perturbation theory: new observables and new phenomena beyond linear order"
1220-1300 IC Presentation & Discussion: "Statistical Cosmology"
1300 Close of Meeting
Looking forward to seeing you there,
Donnacha Kirk
