Join ARLIS in July 2010 when the annual conference will be held at the
recently opened John McIntyre Conference Centre

, at the University of Edinburgh's Pollock Halls. The campus is situated
close to the city centre at the foot of Edinburgh's spectacular natural
landmark, Arthur's Seat.

ogramme.pdf> will examine the future of art librarianship and will
include presentations looking at the increasing use of social media, new
projects concerning digital resources and collections, and artists'
increasing use of archive and library material in their work. A wide
range of breakout sessions will cover topics such as securing funding,
putting preservation policies into practice, and online digital
resources for students. Visits to diverse Edinburgh institutions such as
the Scottish Poetry Library, the Scottish Parliament and the National
Library of Scotland will also be available.

confirmed, they will be contacted and asked to indicate their
preferences.
Additional Accommodation
For those delegates who wish to book pre-conference accommodation at
Pollock Halls (or wish to stay on once the conference ends), please
contact Edinburgh First either by email [log in to unmask] or phone
0131 651 2007. Please state you are attending the conference (quoting
event number 67358) when booking extra accommodation, this way Edinburgh
First will try to allocate one of the pre-booked rooms and avoid
delegates having to change rooms once the conference begins (or ends).
