Dear Prof. Brown,
I'd like to ensure you and the community of petrologists that petrology is included and now listed among the updated index terms of Solid Earth. The initial lack of specific reference was actually a mistake, that was already corrected a few days ago. Apologies for that.
I take the chance to invite you and the petrological community to consider submission to the Open Access, Public Peer-Review & Interactive Public Discussion Solid Earth journal of EGU. I'm sure you contributes will greatly help the journal, and I'm sure the journal may help petrologists and solid earth geoscientists to find an optimum way to present, discuss, and disseminate their best science.
My Best regards
Paolo Papale, Executive Co-Editor, Solid Earth
