Languages and International Studies has a proud record of excellence in teaching and research. The subject is a key component of the academic identity of the School of Arts and Humanities and integral to Nottingham Trent University's international orientation. Common interests in the global and cross-cultural dimensions of social life unite and drive research and teaching across the diverse subject areas of the team.
You will be able to demonstrate achievement in academic research and teaching in the fields of International Relations and Global Studies, and a specialist interest in a region of the Global South, preferably Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America or East Asia. Candidates for this post must possess a commitment to international learning and be able to work in a strongly interdisciplinary context. Post-holders will be expected to contribute to the research profile of the team as well as curriculum delivery and development at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
