Hi Jane,
To my knowledge and reading experience, Hughes' influence on
experimental work was zilch. There is a distinct expressionist streak
in a lot of British experimental poetry of course, who might share
parallel influences with Hughes (in both European poetry and going
back to English poetry of the 40's), but they certainly weren't
influenced by him. There was a very strong anti Hughes contingent too.
