From CBA News item http://www.britarch.ac.uk/news/100506-briefing113
The submission deadline for the next issue of the printed Briefing, the
CBA's listings of UK events and other opportunities, is this Sunday 9
May.
Tell us about your new conferences, excavations and notices by Sunday 9
May and we'll include them in CBA Briefing
(http://www.britarch.ac.uk/briefing).
It's that time again when Briefing is due. This is the CBA's listing of
fieldwork, conferences, notices and other events published in our
British Archaeology magazine (http://www.britarch.ac.uk/ba) every two
months, and available online and as a newsfeed
(http://www.britarch.ac.uk/rss).
Each year, around 350 conferences, excavations and notices are listed.
To check if your entry is already included, or to see the type of
details we include, visit www.britarch.ac.uk/briefing.
If you have an event or excavation to be included, please send
information by 9pm Sunday 9 May for printed issue #113 (July/August
2010), on sale Friday 11 June. Send via email to our Briefing Editor
(mailto:[log in to unmask]).
Please note that space in the printed magazine can be limited and any
text is likely to be edited for publication.
For entries, we need an event title, dates, summary information and
contact details (name, postal address, phone, email, website...whatever
is applicable!). We much prefer to receive electronically in plain text,
but attachments can also be sent - posters, leaflets, press releases
etc.
Details for web-only version of Briefing can be submitted at any time.
Why not have a browse and see what events are coming up? You can also
check if your event is already included.
Many thanks,
Seren Langley
