A reminder about the Royal Statistical Society Special Conference on
"Statistical Challenges in Lifecourse Research".
The aim of the meeting is to bring together researchers from
epidemiology, statistics, and the social sciences to exchanges ideas
regarding how to properly analyse longitudinal lifecourse data in order
to identify the critical phases in lifecourse related to social,
psychological and physiological wellbeing in later life.
Invited speakers include:
Francesco Billari (Dondena Centre for Social Dynamics, Bocconi
University, Italy);
Tim Croudace (University of Cambridge)
Tim Cole (Institute of Child Health, University College London);
Darren Dahly (University of Leeds);
Michael Gamborg (Institute of Preventive Medicine, Copenhagen University
Hospital, Denmark);
Josue Ortiz (IMIM, Barcelona);
Andrew Pickles (School of Medicine, University of Manchester);
Kate Tilling (Department of Public Health Sciences, Kings College London);
Yu-Kang Tu (University of Leeds).
The conference will take place from 11am on Tuesday 13th July to 4pm on
Wednesday 14th July at Hinsley Hall, Leeds. Full details of the venue
