Hadn't thought of this angle, so thanks for comment. Also,
sociolinguistics considers natural speech to be clause chains. I find
this useful since it is a way into writing dialogue. (So for me writing
clause chains is a skill in need of practice, at least in keeping up my
writing skills.)

Yes, it could be. It could also be an oedipal formation. However, this
depends on context and is also a way of mimesis getting toward immanent
critique. And it need not be, at all.
Another thing I found curious is the more the text is pushed toward
non-sense and the image toward abstraction, the stronger the attraction
between image and text. This could also be stronger anti-attraction or
repulsion. (Sublime forces in action)
It is as if each needs the other to stand up or work as art/poetry. But
more curious again, separate the poetry text and photo image and they
seem to still stand up on their own, as it may seem. As if each needs
becoming in between without space, which is to say, space gets created
by the 2 image forms, assuming here poetry is also image.
It is the flexible making and unmaking of space/image together which
seems to me very much how something like poetry and traditional
monochrome photographs can go together as a single art work.
at least this is what I find. there are other different ideas.
