Fixed Term Contract for 1 year
You will work on non-parametric Bayesian models in bioinformatics data
integration and analysis. This is a collaborative project involving Warwick
Systems Biology Centre (Prof. David Wild) and the Universities of Cambridge
(Prof. Zoubin Gharamani) and Kent (Dr. Jim Griffin). The post is based in
Warwick and is available from June 2010.
You should have a PhD, or equivalent, in either computational biology or a
quantitative discipline such as statistics, applied mathematics, theoretical
physics, or computer science and a strong interest in molecular biology.
Programming skills in a high level language such as a C/C++, R or Matlab are
essential and previous experience of Bayesian methods would be an advantage.
