Hi
I have had an enquiry from a visually impaired service user about the
legal distance between street furniture and signs on pavements?
The council have located a bench next to a building on the pavement and
across from this is a sign post pointing to various places of interest.
There have been a few incidents with the gap between the two and a few
near misses.
My service user has asked the council about this but with no luck.
Is there a minimum distance that must be left for easy access between
the bench and the sign-post?
Hope this makes sense
Thanks
Bill
