Hi Ian,
We have about half a dozen people who seem interested and David is really thrilled. By the way, my friend is David Jones. You may know his work (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_E._H._Jones).
I have forwarded your email to him.

I can sympathise. My house also filling up with stuff. I suggest you also send this to the BIG-Chat list (I can forward it on your behalf if necessary). Many people there present science shows. These creations deserve to be seen by the widest possible public.

Subject: Re: [PSCI-COM] Rescuing treasures of science communication
One of the most successful science communicators of the 20th century is now having to leave his huge home and move somewhere more manageable. He is faced with the task of discarding or finding homes for the many science exhibits he has made over the years and the equipment he used to make them. As well as being a science writer he used to make exhibits for museum and demonstrations for science television programmes.
This is obviously a very difficult time for him and he would love to be able to hand on at least some of his treasures to people who will appreciate them. We thought that a good way start is to consult this new generation of science communicators to see if you have any ideas.
