Okay poetry people. Let me throw this at you.

Like I said in the beginning I like to write and it's fun to get it out
etc..

So, not to be the pretentious guy that lives in the LA area; but, rather the
dude you all love to hate and would like to work on a 'project' as a
collective with. I have a screenplay!

BUT, really I do. It's been refined etc..lets say more of an outline than an
actual finished product. Anyhow, I do freelance work in LA and a recent
client was a pretty cool dude. Although, the last time we met we spent the
first 3 hours (paid) with him pulling a screen play out of his cabinet and
reciting it to me as I fueled the fire as a listener and interested party.
Because I was interested and his screenplay was not  totally original but
entertaining. Anyways, he also showed me this bad ass music videos his son
produces in NYC and I  was extremely impressed. Yes, so, like a fool
revealed my master piece in like 5 minutes, not nearly as entertaining,
animated, or acted as him; but, a quick 1,2,3 punch.  I kind of felt like I
made a bad move. I liked the dude a lot as a client and person he was funny
and reeled me in like a pro. I hadn't told ANYONE about this particular
secret project, I was just letting it germinate. This guy said he had
connections with the industry etc and he told me the new plans Disney and
some other studios were making.

Which brings me to this. The guy gave me this DVD about writing screenplays
and I want to 'open source' my concept; but, not if people aren't
interested. I like you guys and you all have a distinct writing style and
think as a group something interesting might emerge from my throwing this

So, the link above could be used as a collaborative effort.  I could give
everyone or anyone access to the admin and they could even learn about
wordpress at the same time.

My vision would be someone owns each ACT, and then kind of lets things
happen. I haven't put my high concept up there yet though. I was thinking
if somebody says I want to hear it I will throw it down if not I'll keep it
to myself. It might never go anywhere that way though.

Thoughts?

I have more to add BUT, I don't want to overwhelm. I think Frankenstein came
from a group of writers playing with who could write the scariest story
etc..

I think the blog would be cool to use to see the progress and add ideas
easily along the way. I would compile the final and distribute indie style.
we could change the domain along the way and use the blog as a purchasing
channel/platform.
