This PhD project sets the focus on ultrafast spectroscopy simulations of the dynamics of structural correlations of hydrogen-bonded
networks in ionic liquids combining methods from quantum chemistry, quantum dissipation theory, and classical molecular dynamics.
The interdisciplinary project is embedded in the activities of the Collaborative Research Center Sfb 652 "Strong Correlations
and Collective Phenomena in Radiation Fields" (http://www.physik.uni-rostock.de/sfb/) and involves close cooperation with experimental groups.
The successful candidate should have a Master or Diploma in Physics or Chemistry with a focus on Theory.
The salary is according to German TVL E13 (1/2 with possible extension to 2/3). The starting date
is flexible and applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
