Dear Lisa,
WE had every intention of submitting proceedings for our presentations to
the EATAW Journal by today's deadline. However, we have been so busy
preparing for our first international conference on academic writing in
Israel (www.ifawconference.org ) that the date slipped by. I hope we will
be able to complete our paper on the symposium by the beginning of next
week. WE will also try to complete a paper on the workshop we presented.
Will you be able to give us an extension of a week?
Thank you very much for your consideration.
Best wishes to you for your work on the journal and for all other EATAW
matters.
Sincerely,
Trudy Zuckermann, IFAW (Israel Forum for Academic Writing) Coordinator
Bella Rubin, Academic Chair of the International Conference, “Academic
Writing and Beyond in Multicultural
Societies”

Subject: 2nd Call for Papers: EATAW 2009 Conference Proceedings
Dear Colleagues,
I am attaching the Call for Papers for the EATAW 2009 conference
proceedings. Please note that the EATAW Board intends to publish the papers
in a special first edition of the new EATAW journal, and that the deadline
for
submissions of papers is Monday 12th April 2010.
I originally emailed this Call for Papers out in December 2009 to all
delegates of
the EATAW 2009 conference and submissions have already been received.
Please take this as a reminder.
Best wishes,
Lisa Ganobcsik-Williams
EATAW Board Chair
