dear EATAWians
can I suggest, as John asks, to send replies directly to him at [log in to unmask], rather than to the whole list.
Once John has received all replies, he will certainly collate and distribute to all, just one eMail
my in-box and I will be grateful
alex

Subject: Centres for Academic Writing - and similar

Dear colleagues
Centres for Academic Writing have become well-established in many countries, both where English is the native tongue and elsewhere. Their inception has not yet reached Norway. A leading educational research institution here has asked me to outline a project investigating the need for, and organisation of such an establishment in Norway. This will provide the basis for an application to the Norwegian Research Council for an in-depth study, hopefully leading to the establishment of one or more centres in Norway.

Initially, I am attempting to find out how many such centres exist and in which countries, their affiliation with a university or other academic institution, year of establishment. I expect to return with a request for further information later although the respective website will probably provide me with much essential detail.

I am therefore requesting EATAW members who are associated with such centres to inform me of the following:
Name of Centre:
Location (Country, city):
Date of establishment:
Affiliation to (university etc.):
Website (URL):

Can I request that this information is sent to my personal email: [log in to unmask] This will avoid clutter on personal websites. If, however, other members are interested in the information, received, I shall be pleased to forward it to them.

Really appreciate your assistance.
