STATISTICAL METHODS FOR OUTBREAK DETECTION
10.00 - 17.30 Wednesday May 19th 2010 at the Open University, Milton Keynes, UK. The closing date for registrations is Friday 14th May.

The conference is about statistical methods for the early detection of infectious disease outbreaks. There will be a broad range of invited talks from statisticians and epidemiologists, from the UK and elsewhere in Europe, working on syndromic surveillance, laboratory-based surveillance, surveillance of specific infections such as influenza, and surveillance of mortality attributable to infections.
We invite contributed poster presentations on the conference theme. The conference fee of 30 pounds covers registration, lunch and refreshments on the day. We gratefully acknowledge financial support from the NIHR.
