No mal-intent. I was just saying options are out there and blogger is
definitely a gateway. I used it and I love that it is under the google
umbrella.

ha, dunno. i'm going to say yes in theory; but no in practice. does blogger
have a premium service? i did the free version many moons ago and usually
free means you can't touch the code unless it's through their administration
tools and that's usually very limited. BUT, you certainly can export the db
files as an sql file or a csv and import it into a clean or existing
wordpress db (database) if you have access to the raw data. i haven't even
googled or looked elsewhere; but, it sounds like a common need and i'm sure
their are multiple solutions for integrating blog content from each platform
to the other. you could probably route the blogger rss feed directly into a
wordpress page. yes, on the stand alone pages. you could customize your own
'theme' or find an exiting theme that supports that. pretty much
wordpress hierarchy goes page, category, post, comment. comments belong to
posts (this can be turned on or off), posts belong to categories (this you
can customize to your sites relevance), categories appear on pages (their
are template pages that are standard and you can create custom pages that
behave the way you would like with a little know how.) The wordpress
community is healthy and the resources are abundant.
if i were going to look further into the blogger to wp I would google
"export blogger import wordpress" (variations of that). I'd also check the
plugins for wordpress I'm sure their is a one click solution for you very
good question...actually you got me curious:

There it is. Good question, thanks for making me think.
Here's some resources I've found helpful:
