> SEMANA INTERNACIONAL DEL CORTO 2010 en BOLIVIA
> Cochabamba – Bolivia >> Del 10 al 15 de Mayo de 2010

> Desde inicios de la década pasada el cortometraje ha experimentado  
> profundas transformaciones que le han llevado a convertirse en un  
> género audiovisual con entidad, características y lenguaje propio.
>
> Los cortos dan a conocer nuestras historias, nuestras vidas,  
> creencias, sueños, creadores que encuentran en el lenguaje  
> audiovisual una manera de decir de expresar nuestro universo cultural.
>
> Y son festivales los que hacen que la gente pueda ver el trabajo de  
> los realizadores que quieren decir algo importante. Los  
> cortometrajes simbolizan la libertad y la democracia del acceso a  
> los medios audiovisuales.
>
> La “Semana Internacional del Corto” es una plataforma para que  
> guionistas, directores, actores y productores de este tipo de obras  
> vayan posicionado sus cortos como un género independiente del  
> largometraje.
>
> En este marco “IMAGINEA arte y cultura”, en colaboración con  
> Fundación Imagen, lanza la primera convocatoria internacional de  
> cortometrajes.
>
>
> BASES.-
>
> 1.- Podrán participar realizadores de cualquier nacionalidad y sin  
> límite de edad.
>
> 2.- Cada participante podrá presentar un máximo de 3 obras. Los  
> formatos originales de las películas podrán ser: 35 mm y 16mm,  
> digital, mudas o sonoras, contando con el sonido óptico o magnético  
> incorporado. No serán admitidas obras que necesiten de sistemas  
> auxiliares de reproducción.
>
> 3.- El tema del corto es libre, pudiendo participar en las  
> siguientes categorías: ficción, documental, animación y experimental.
>
> 4.- Las obras deben tener una duración máxima de 30 minutos  
> (incluyendo créditos) y asegurar los estándares técnicos que  
> aseguren su proyección.
>
> 5.- Los participantes deberán enviar el siguiente material:
> • Un DVD de la obra, con subtítulos en español cuando se trate de  
> obras de habla no hispana.
> • 3 fotografías (color o blanco y negro) a 300dpi de la obra en un  
> CD-ROM.
> • El formulario impreso y debidamente llenado.
> • La autorización escrita y firmada por quien posea los derechos de  
> proyección de la obra.
> • El DVD debe ir identificado con el nombre del corto y la dirección  
> de contacto. Los DVDs y las fotografías presentadas a esta  
> convocatoria quedaran en poder del Festival para su incorporación al  
> archivo de la organización, autorizando los participantes su uso  
> libre para fines de difusión del evento.
>
> Todo este material debe ser enviado antes del 31 de Marzo de 2010,  
> con el rotulo, a la siguiente dirección:

> También puede enviar su material a:

> Casilla Postal 6465
> La Paz - Bolivia

> 6.- Los gastos de envío de las obras correrán a cargo de los  
> participantes. Las obras enviadas del exterior deben especificar en  
> los sobres de envío
> ”Sin valor comercial – solo con fines culturales”.
>
> 7.- La organización del Festival velará por la integridad de las  
> obras que se presenten, así como de su proyección en las mejores  
> condiciones posibles.
>
> 8.- Un comité compuesto por tres personalidades del ámbito de la  
> cultura y el audiovisual, seleccionarán las obras que formaran parte  
> de la programación oficial de la “I Semana Internacional del Corto”.
>
> 9.- Los participantes seleccionados serán directamente contactados  
> por el equipo organizador.
>
> 10.- La organización podrá exhibir los cortometrajes seleccionados  
> en los lugares y horarios que considere oportunos de acuerdo a la  
> programación del festival.
>
> 11.- Los participantes seleccionados autorizan la utilización de un  
> fragmento de las obras hasta un máximo de 2 minutos, para la  
> difusión en cualquier medio de comunicación.
>
> 12.- La organización se reserva el derecho de no admitir obras que  
> incluyan escenas que vayan en contra de los derechos humanos o se  
> consideren de contenido nocivo para el público.
>
> 13.- En esta edición el jurado que elegirá el cortometraje premiado  
> será el público. El valor del premio es de 1.000.- euros.
>
> 14.- Cualquier duda sobre esta convocatoria será aclarada vía mail,

> REGULATIONS. –

> 1. - Application is open to any director and project without  
> restrictions in terms of nationality or age.

> 9. - Selected participants will be contacted by the Festival

> 10. - The organization will be free to schedule the selected short  
> films in the day and times that are deemed more suitable for them  
> according to the Festival program.

> 11. - By submitting, participants agree to the usage, for the  
> festival promotion, of film clips of up to two minutes of length in  
> any media.

> 12. - The organization will retain the right to deny admission to  
> any work that includesscenes that violate human rights or content  
> deemed to be harmful for the public.

> 13. - In this edition, audiences will be responsible of selecting  
> the awarded short film. Award price consists of a 1,000 Euros cash
