Dear colleagues,
I would like to draw your attention to the opening of a 1 year CNRS engineer
position at the GSMA, University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne (France). The
position is immediately available.
The selected applicant will have to implement a database gathering
spectroscopic data on atmospheric molecules such as ozone. This database
will be related to other european databases via a virtual data centre whose
implementation is supported by the European Union (VAMDC project).
In this context, the selected applicant will collaborate with researchers
and engineers from several european countries (UK, Austria, Sweden, etc.) in
order to optimize the interoperability between our database, the VAMDC core,
and other databases.
The strongly motivated candidates that will apply should prove some
experience in XML-like and SQL languages. General knowledge on computer and
network administration would also be highly appreciated.
The salary is based on CNRS engineer salary grids that is about 23 000
euros/year as gross income.
For any further information on the profile of the position, feel free to
contact me or Prof. Vladimir Tyuterev (at [log in to unmask]).
And I forgot to specify that we have delightful champagnes in Reims!
Dr David Bonhommeau
Assistant Professor, University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne.
