Dear all,
here's a pleasant one for a Thursday morning!
Yesterday in our Victorian Schoolroom session a child vomited (How scary are we?
!?!? ;0) - Anyway, there followed some confusion about who should clean it up
(annoyingly the site cleaner was nowhere to be found) and the teacher really
didn't think it was her job to mop it up.
So really, I'm just looking for clarification on what other folks do and say in their
material related to this kind of thing? Are the teachers still locum parentis or is it
our responsibility as it is our venue?
Rest assured, we did clean it up and I guarantee there's at least one more child
that's left our sessions with a memory for life - I wonder if there's a GLO for this??
?
Many thanks,
Jim
