Ah, I see the problem now. Vicky mentioned this as well but I couldn't
see it because I generally look at PDF (Macs preferring that to
PostScript) and it was ok in that but not in PostScript. The problem is
that although PostScript lets you calculate the bounding box of a string,
PDF does not so I had to kludge it for PDF and that ended up distorting
the PostScript version indirectly. So I hope I've got it so that they are
both happy now. Well, that mucked up the window ticks a bit so I've
changed that as well, and a bonus is that the window will now resize
the vertical tick widget if you zoom in and so get more and more decimal
places displayed. That was also a hack, because you can't figure out the
bounding box in Tk/OpenGL either, so it won't be perfect.
