I can see reasons for starting a separate list, eg if it relates to a specific institutional environment, or a specific domain. But I don't think we are trying to be specifically UK-focused here in Research-dataman (although we also aren't trying to make this One List to Rule Them All!). There seems to me some value in sharing approaches, and some risks to all of us in balkanisation...
I think we'd really like to know where you get to with your thinking, if you get a chance. It was a nice query.
