Well, the poems were interesting for being so different as examples of
'lyric' (or anti), but I actualy fund the exchange between you & Todd
on Heaney much more fun.
As someone who both is able to admire some of Heaney's poems, & who
feels that, as you say, 'Heaney’s current elevated position in poetry
is unjustified within the context of the of 20th century poetic
history', I found it an invigorating discussion.
