You are invited to a visit to HarperCollins organized by the Career
Development Group (Scottish Division), to include a guided tour of the
Map Library and HarperCollins
Archive.
HarperCollins (http://www.harpercollins.co.uk) has been publishing in
Glasgow since 1819. It has an impressive archive of books, letters and
artwork, including letters from Agatha Christie. The site also has a
working Map Library, which supports the Cartographic Department.
The fee for this event is £5 per person. There are only 12 places
available, so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Teas and coffees can be purchased from the canteen.
