Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and quality-oriented manager to
lead the Customer Services teams in the main campus library (currently being
refurbished and extended) and two site libraries in the centre of York. You
will be user-focussed, resourceful and self-motivated with excellent
communication and organisation skills. You will be prepared to innovate,
manage projects, and be a reflective practitioner.
You will have a good honours degree or equivalent experience. Significant
experience in an HE/research library or similar customer service, including
management of staff, is essential.
Salary will be within the range £35,646 – 43,840 per annum on grade 7 of the
University’s salary scales. The post is available from 1 August.
