This Audiences London training session will be looking at methods that have been successful in creating the change from outreach to new audiences.
If you're working in outreach or education, you're probably faced with the challenge that outreach work with new communities doesn't necessarily guarantee these communities ever entering your doors. We'll be talking particularly about family audiences and on site with South London Gallery who will be sharing stories, experience and insight from their ongoing partnership with the families on their neighbouring Sceaux Gardens Estate.
By the end of the session you will be able to:
· list issues particularly relevant to engaging with family audiences
· describe methods of engagement that have succeeded in the long term
· discuss the challenges linked to these methods
· reference good practice case studies in London
