Hi,
I have some questions regarding the way Analysis deals with spin systems. I have a project in which a bunch of residues are (not yet) assigned. When I look at the spin system pop-up it, I see that every residue (even those as yet unassigned) has a spin-system number assigned to it, without any resonances linked to it. This is already a bit puzzling, but the thing that is most annoying about this is that I don't think any of the filtering options from the drop-down menu allow you to quickly get rid of those, since the 'empty' spin systems persist even when you tell it to only show 'Assigned' spin systems. Is there a way around this (aside from the filtering in the right-click menu)?
In addition, I have the strange situation that some of my assignments appear to have ended up in different spin systems, even though they are assigned to the same residue in the same chain... I guess I can fix that, but I am unsure how it happened.
Regarding the 'empty' spin systems - is there a way to get rid of those? I don't see an equivalent of the 'delete orphans' button in that window.
Thanks,
Patrick
PS. Is it possible that these things are (in part) due to running Dangle on these partial data? I could imagine it creates the spin systems to be able to specify/store the secondary structure/torsion angle info it comes up with...
