The Institute of Environment and Health are pleased to announce the folllowing short-course:
"Understanding Epidemiology for Chemical Risk Assessment: An Introduction for Scientists and Policy-Makers"
Are you a scientist or administrator who needs to clarify evaluate epidemiological papers, reviews or reports relating to human health? Our three-day short course will provide an introduction to epidemiological methods and provide you with the skills to communicate with epidemiologists and statisticians, understand and appreciate different epidemiological study designs and interpret and evaluate results from published papers.
The programme, delivered by the Institute of Environment and Health (IEH), will consist of a mix of lectures, seminars and practical sessions giving you a sound base to assist your decision and policy-making processes.
