The Public Sector Group (formerly the Local Government Group) will be meeting
on Wednesday 21st April 2010 at the Westminster Archives Centre. The theme
of the meeting will be Records Management into the 21st Century. The day will
include a presentation on how to use the LGCRS by Alison North (Genuine
Group) and Elizabeth Barber (Chair of the LGCRS Review Panel), a presentation
by TNT Archive Services and discussion groups on performance indicators and
how to choose an external storage supplier. The feedback received from the
discussion groups will be used to create guidance on performance indicators
and a toolkit for choosing an external storage supplier which will be made
available via the RMS web site. All input to these publications will be
acknowledged.
TNT Archive Services will be sponsoring the meeting.
The meeting is free of charge and a sandwich lunch will be provided. The
meeting is open to all members of the RMS and other interested participants.
Preference will be given to RMS members.
There are 60 places available at this meeting, if you would like to attend the

stating whether or not you are a member of the RMS and citing your
membership number. If you are unsure about your membership number, log on
to the members area of the website and your membership number will appear
automatically.
Preferential booking will be given to RMS members until April 7th when
remaining places will be offered to other interested participants.
