Applications are now open to attend a 4-day workshop on Statistical
Challenges Arising from Genome Resequencing, from 13 to 16 July 2010, at the
Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Cambridge, UK.
Applications close March 12, but places are limited to around 100 and
preliminary indications suggest a lot of interest, so it may be
oversubscribed. In that case preference will be given on the basis of
relevant current and planned research, limiting multiple attendees from the
same institute, and on order of application.
Speaking slots are invitation-only but all participants are welcome to
present a poster. There will be free sessions after lunch most days for
discussions and other activities.
We plan a tutorial session for career-young researchers on the Tuesday
morning, before the main workshop commences after lunch. A further
announcement will be made to those who have registered for the main workshop.
