A new one-year research/consultancy position in applied statistics has arisen at the University of the West of England, Bristol.
The role is to predominantly work alongside health professionals in the design, analysis and wider dissemination of
research in the medical and health services. The position offered will provide a genuine opportunity for the role
holder to take a pro-active lead in shaping the consultancy and statistical support for researchers within North
Bristol, NHS and to work on other quantitative consultancy projects managed by the University of the West of
England (projects internal to the University and for an external client base). The role can be extended to include some aspects of teaching including the delivery of bespoke one-day courses.
More generally, the role holder will work alongside a team of applied statisticians actively engaged in teaching, research and consultancy and will work
in a friendly and supportive environment with dedicated mentors.
