> Am I missing something?
Yes. I have two (almost - see next sentence) identical machines here
(CentOS release 5.4), one with a glite 3.1 bdii and one with a glite
3.2 install (upgraded from 3.1). They used to have identical setups
incl. /etc/hosts.allow files, but then I see the same as Winnie, i.e.
3.1 is accessible from the outside, 3.2 isn't.
So the 3.2. machine now has a different hosts.allow file (compared to
3.1), with the uncerimonious line slapd: ALL added.
It's just always slightly disconcerting (though not unexpected, I
guess) when you have to mess with the underlying operating
system/configs when you upgrade glite.
