Fixed Term, full time for 2 ½ years

We are looking for a Research Assistant to join our team investigating a novel alternative to the current 'Do Not Attempt Resuscitation' (DNAR) form used in hospitals. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team investigating an important and sensitive topic.
You will take responsibility for the collection and analysis of primary qualitative data, using a mix of semi-structured interviews with inpatients, relatives and hospital staff and observation of everyday practices on the ward. You must have a relevant first degree in social science (sociology, anthropology or a related discipline) and ideally experience of qualitative research on a health related topic.
Whilst this post is full-time, we would welcome an applicant who may be keen on developing this research into a PhD project.
