Hello Richard!
Another useful company who could carry out the work like you have described
- including considering accessibility components is Webcredible
http://www.webcredible.co.uk/ ... ask for Ismail Ismail (Head of UX) and get
Paul MacCarthy (very good designer and accessibility person) to run /
overview the project.
In order to keep the cost down it will be useful to recruit your own
participants.
I used to work for Webcredible and am a usability / accessibility consultant
myself, but have decided to study for a PhD at Middlesex University where I
plan to design an interactive environment for older users employing content
from a specific museum. At the moment my time is very limited otherwise I'd
love to offer my consultancy services directly to you.
Best wishes,
Marianne Markowski
