Hi Rinn,
We changed from the Irish punt to the euro in 2001. It was just a matter of contacting III well in advance and working it out with them. As I remember, they made the adjustment in the system on the day we requested based on the conversion rate we gave them (which was fixed well ahead of the change). It went very smoothly. One day the figures were in the old currency, the next they were in euro.
Obviously, once the change is made, you will need to update your currency rates in the Admin/Parameters/Foreign Currency Codes and Rates table.
All the best with the move to the euro.

Catherine

Subject: [LIS-EUR-IUG] switching to another currency
Hi,
I am from the Estonian Libraries Network Consortium.
In Estonia, we are facing the time when we will start using Euros instead
of Estonian kroons (possibly already next year) and we were wondering if
anyone has any experience of switching to another currency in Millennium:
what needed to be changed, how everything went, etc.
Any insight would be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Riin Olonen
