Ethan,
manual handling of the mosaicity seems to help. There are now plenty of
other things to sort out, but at least scalepack does not crash anymore.
I used lower fixed mosaicity setting in denzo and fixed it in scalepack.
Another issue is that there was apparently something funny about first 5
or so frames, as statistics looks quite sane when frames 5 to 10 are
processed and quite crazy for any sequence including first five frames.
In fact, even mosaicity refinement can be turned back on when first few
frames are excluded. This is quite interesting since there is nothing
visibly wrong with the images.
