Dear Marcel,
I'm not familiar with this error, but it looks like an error in the
reviewing tool rather than in the actual analysis. Do you mean that
you press the 'render' button in the '3D source reconstruction' window
and then you get this error? Try updating to the latest SPM version
(from last week). In that version the 'render' button doesn't call the
reviewing tool any more so it's likely that the error will not occur.
In any case you should be able to review all the trials (by pressing
the 'condition ...' button) and export images from them.
If that wasn't helpful, please give more details of how you got that
error and perhaps send me an example dataset via yousendit.com.
