Could there possibly be a family connection with Col. Sir William Serjeant
(1857-1930) who lived in St Benets Abbey, Lanivet, nr. Bodmin?. Plymouth
City Museum purchased his very fine Mineral collection in 1924.The
collection is noted for Cornish minerals. The museum seems to know very
little about Sir William.

Subject: William Sargent mine agent?
Does anyone have any information on William Sargent (or family) who appears
to have been involved in mining in the Liskeard area c. 1850?
Many thanks.
