The Role
We are looking to recruit a trainee to work in our health economics team on a
range of research and consultancy projects. The successful candidate will be
supported in studying for the MSc in Medical Statistics at the University of
Leicester, which will be completed on a part-time basis and the project
conducted within Oxford Outcomes. Oxford Outcomes will pay your course
fees, and provide assistance with travel and course materials; in addition, we
offer a supportive learning environment in which you will have an opportunity
to work alongside leaders in the health technology assessment field, and study
leave to prepare for upcoming exams.
Ideal candidates must possess:
• a good first degree in economics, statistics or a related discipline
• well-developed written and oral communication skills
• the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
If appointed, you will assist with literature searches, data collection, and
other project support tasks. As your knowledge increases, you will take more
responsibility for project work.
Please note that any offer will be dependent on you gaining a place on this
MSc course commencing September 2010, although you will join us earlier in
the year.
