We'd like to invite you and your colleagues to attend our a workshop on
Organisational Development for Information Management which is being held on
27th April 2010 in Manchester.
Most information management initiatives fail for behavioural reasons. This
workshop examines how you can minimise the risk of failure by managing the
cultural change for end-users and by engaging the support of senior managers
for the information management agenda. Full details can be viewed here:
http://www.i-b-e.co.uk/Organisational+development+for+information+management
During the course of the workshop, delegates will find out how to:
* Engage with end-users to ensure their support for your information
management initiatives
* Gain buy-in and accountability from senior managers
* Embed information management in your organisation’s planning and
performance frameworks
* Harness human resources tools for information management ends to support
behavioural change
* Design and implement your own organisational development plan using tried
and tested tools and templates
The workshop leaders, Liz Scott-Wilson and Carol Scott, both have extensive
public sector experience covering project leadership, strategy and policy
development, information governance, user needs analysis, functional
specification, tender and procurement support, information architecture,
file classification and taxonomy, metadata framework, retention and
disposal, access and security, migration, change management and user training.
