The Royal Geographical Society have asked their research groups to bring to the attention of all members the medals and awards offered by the Society. Deadline for proposals is 28th Feb – see below for details of awards and process (not that onerous actually).

I reckon that pygyrg-ers are likely not doing what we do for the prestige or kudos, and many of us work for the sake of what we do rather than medals, but it might be quite nice for participatory geographies/geographers to get a little recognition for the committed and deeply relevant work we do?
