Dear All,
I notice that in SPSS, post hoc contrasts can be set for one-way ANOVA
tests, eg 1, 1, -2 and -1, 1, 0 to firstly compare groups 1 and 2 with 3,
and secondly compare 1 and 2 in an orthogonal way.
However, there seems to be no such option for this in the repeated
measures ANOVA
dialogue box. Using syntaxit is possible to compare within subjects
factors, but 3
comparisons are given rather than 2, implying that a correction e.g.
bonferroni needs to made.
I wanted to know if it is possible to do planned orthogonal contrasts in
repeated measures designs, and if not, whether this might be due to
dependence between different levels of the factors?
many thanks
Ioanna
